Carlos Rogers Hoping To Stay In San Francisco

The San Francisco 49ers added CB Carlos Rogers towards the end of free agency which looks like one of the teams better moves at this point. Rogers appears to be open to the idea of returning to the team next season.

If we can get something worked out, that would be great,” Rogers told Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com.  “My agent knows that I like what’s going on here.  I want to be here.  This has been great for me, and I would love to get something worked out for five, six years.”

Rogers, 30, was brought in to replace Nate Clements and has already has set a career high for interceptions this season.  Rogers mentioned that he and his agent have discussed their plan for free agency but have yet to sit down with the 49ers at this point in time.
