Carolina Panthers Lose Matt Moore For The Season

Things cannot get any worse for the Carolina Panthers have struggled all season long and will now be without QB Matt Moore for the remainder of the season.

Moore went down with a torn the labrum in his throwing shoulder during Sunday’s game and the team has since placed him on season-ending IR. Jimmy Clausen stepped in but was unable to get the offense moving.

The loss of Moore leaves the Panthers short on quarterbacks which will likely force them to look to the free agent market for a backup. Darin Gantt tweeted that JaMarcus Russell, Joey Harrington, Patrick Ramsey and Brian St. Pierre are the best available options.
