Carson Palmer Stopped By To Ask For A Trade

ESPN’s Bob Holtzman reported that Carson Palmer stopped by the Cincinnati Bengals front office and met with owner Mike Brown back in July.

Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer added that the meeting took place after the lockout  and before training camp started and also mentions that the team reached out to Palmer some time last week.

Yesterday ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that sources close to Palmer indicated that nothing has changed in regards to his current stance.

Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis responded to question about Palmer by saying  “Carson. Is. Retired.”

It doesn’t appear that all that much has changed in regards to this situation which is why I would expect Palmer to sit out the entire season barring an unforeseen change of circumstance.
