CFL WR Duron Carter Visiting With Colts, Chiefs, & Vikings This Week

CFL WR Duron Carter is working out for the Indianapolis Colts on Tuesday, according to Matt Miller of the Bleacher Report.

Miller adds that Carter is scheduled to visit with the Chiefs on Wednesday and the Vikings at some point later in the week.

Jason La Canfora reported close to a week ago that Carter made his first visit with the Buccaneers in recent weeks.

  • According to La Canfora, if Carter does not reach an agreement with one of these teams, he is likely to meet with the Ravens, Seahawks, 49ers and Cardinals in the second leg of his tour.
  • For what it’s worth, La Canfora expects the Colts to be “particularly aggressive” in trying to sign Carter.

Previous reports have said that there will be a lot of interest in Carter, so this news shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.

Carter’s contract with the Montreal Alouettes ended a few months ago and he is now able to make visits with the NFL teams.

Carter, 23, caught 75 passes for 1,030 yards and seven touchdowns to go along with 40 yards rushing.

We’ll have more updates regarding Carter and his NFL options as the news is available.
