Chad Ochocinco Has A “30 percent chance” Of Making The Cut

According to Tom Curran of Comcast Sports New England, Patriots WR Chad Ochocinco has a “30 percent chance” of making the team’s roster this season.

“And that might be a little generous,” admits Curran, via NBC Sports.

New England aggressively improved their receiving core during free agency as they wound up signing Brandon Lloyd, Jabar Gaffney, Donte’ Stallworth and Anthony Gonzalez. The Patriots will also have Wes Welker, Deion Branch, Julian Edelman and Matthew Slater, so you can see that Ochocinco will have to be very impressive to secure a roster spot.

Last year struggled throughout the season to not only learn the team’s playbook, but contribute in a limited capacity. Ochocinco is set to make $1 million for the upcoming season, so the Patriots could end up will some extra cash by making this move.
