Chargers Agree To Terms With Second-Round LB Jeremiah Attaochu

Pro Football Talk, citing a league source, is reporting that the Chargers have reached an agreement with second-round pick LB Jeremiah Attaochu.

Attaochu is only the second of the Chargers draft picks to sign their rookie contracts. He’ll receive a four-year contract.

San Diego actually traded up in round two to select Attaochu and add some depth at outside linebacker.

Attaochu is the all-time leader in sacks at Georgia Tech with 31.5. He also totaled 43.5 tackles for loss, an interception and four forced fumbles over the course of his four-year college career.

The Chargers have to be excited about adding him to their current group of edge rushers that includes Dwight Freeney and Melvin Ingram.
