The San Diego Chargers have claimed DB Pierre Desir off of waivers from the Browns, according to NFL Draft Diamonds.
- Pro Football Talk also reports that the Chargers claimed Lions DT Caraun Reid.
- Ian Rapoport reports that the Chargers have cut CB Steve Williams.
Desir, 25, is a former fourth-round pick of the Browns back in 2014. He’s in the third year of his four-year, $2.63 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $600,000 for the 2016 season.
In 2015, Desir appeared in 14 games for the Browns and recorded 37 tackles, no interceptions and five pass defenses.
