Chargers Claim DL Damion Square Off Waivers From Chiefs

Michael Gehlken of the Union-Tribune San Diego reports that the Chargers have claimed DL Damion Square off of waivers from the Kansas City Chiefs.

Gehlken mentions that this move could be in response to DL Sean Lissemore suffering a quad injury during Sunday’s loss to the Miami Dolphins.

Square, 25, originally signed on with the Philadelphia Eagles last year as an undrafted free agent out of BYU. He was unabel to make the final 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but he was later claimed by the Chiefs.

Square appeared in 10 games during the 2013 season and record four tackles and one pass defense.
