Chargers Claim LB Hayes Pullard Off Waivers From Jaguars, Waive LB Nick Dzubnar

The Los Angeles Chargers announced Monday that they’ve claimed LB Hayes Pullard off waivers from the Jaguars and waived LB Nick Dzubnar.

Pullard, 25, was taken in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL draft by the Browns. He was, unfortunately, to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but the Browns later signed him to their practice squad at the start of the season.

The Jaguars would later sign him off of the Browns’ practice squad toward the end of the 2015 season.

Pullard is in the third year of his four-year, $2.359 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $615,000 and $705,000 over the next two years.

In 2016, Pullard appeared in all 16 games for the Jaguars and recorded nine tackles and no sacks.
