Chargers G Kris Dielman Done For The Season

Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union Tribune reports that the Chargers have placed G Kris Dielman on season-ending injured reserve.

Dielman suffered a concussion and a seizure on the Chargers return flight following the game. The Chargers medical staff has come under scrutiny for allowing Dielman to get on the flight and rightfully so as people should not be flying after suffering a serious head injury like Dielman had.

Dielman, 30, is signed through next season for a total of $4.5 million and is certainly one of the best offensive lineman the Chargers have. Hopefully he’s able to fully recover and rejoin the team next season.
