Alex Marvez of FOX Sports reports that the Chargers are hosting free agent LB Joe Mays for a visit.
The Chiefs released Mays a few weeks ago in a move that freed up $2.7 million in available cap space.
Mays, 28, unfortunately sustained a wrist injury back in early September that forced Kansas City to place him on injured reserve with the designation to return.
In 2014, Mays appeared in eight games and recorded 20 tackles and a fumble recovery for the Chiefs. Pro Football Focus has him down for playing 122 total snaps last year.
