Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune expects to see the San Diego Chargers to address the contracts of RB Mike Tolbert and C Nick Hardwick at some point during the season.
Tolbert signed a one-year tender during the offseason so he’s set to hit the free agent market at the end of the season. Coming off of a breakout year, Tolbert has seen is role increase to the point that the Chargers were starting him over first-round pick Ryan Mathews last year. Another solid performance could net him a decent contract.
