The San Diego Chargers have announced that OT Marcus McNeill is officially out for the season after suffering a neck injury during the teams loss to the Oakland Raiders a few weeks ago.
San Diego’s offensive line has been ravaged by injuries this season and loss of McNeill is only going to make things worse for them down the stretch.
The Chargers also announced that they’ve claimed former Chiefs OT Jared Gaither after he was on Monday. Gaither was responsible for a false start penalty on the Chiefs final drive that contributed to their loss against the Steelers and was subsequently released.
