Chargers Promote K Michael Badgley To Active Roster

The Los Angeles Chargers announced Monday that they’ve promoted K Michael Badgley to their active roster, replacing K Caleb Sturgis.

Badgley, 23, wound up signing on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Miami back in May. He was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed by the Chargers after Caleb Sturgis suffered an injury.

Los Angeles cut Badgley a few weeks ago and later signed him to their practice squad.

In 2018, Badgley has appeared in two games for the Chargers and converted all three field goal attempts and all seven extra point tries.
