Chargers Re-Sign DT Tenny Palepoi To One-Year Deal

The Los Angeles Chargers announced Monday that they’ve re-signed DT Tenny Palepoi to a one-year contract.

The NFL suspended Palepoi four games for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing substances.

Palepoi, 25, signed on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Utah back in 2014. He played out the final year of a three-year, $1.543 million rookie contract and had been testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent after the Chargers declined to tender him a contract as a restricted free agent.

Palepoi, unfortunately, missed the entire 2015 season after sustaining a broken foot during the preseason.

In 2016, Palepoi appeared in 13 games for the Chargers and recorded 13 total tackles and one fumble recovery.
