Chargers Re-Sign WR Geremy Davis To Practice Squad

The Los Angeles Chargers announced Tuesday that they’ve re-signed WR Geremy Davis to their practice squad.

The Chargers’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. G Brett Boyko
  2. WR Andre Patton
  3. WR Artavis Scott
  4. RB Andre Williams (Exception)
  5. DB Craig Mager (Exception)
  6. TE Braedon Bowman
  7. LB Nick Dzubnar (Exception)
  8. DB Jeff Richards
  9. DE Isaac Rochell
  10. WR Geremy Davis

Davis, 25, is a former sixth-round pick of the Giants back in 2015. He managed to make the 53-man roster during his rookie season, but was later cut loose at the start of the 2016 season.

The Giants added him to their practice squad a few months into the season before losing him to the Chargers and he finished out the year in San Diego. The Chargers brought Davis back on a one-year, exclusive rights contract this past March before cutting him loose coming out of the preseason.

In 2016, Davis appeared in three games but did not catch a single pass for the Chargers.
