The San Diego Chargers officially signed WR Isaiah Burse to their practice squad on Wednesday.
The Chargers’ practice squad now consists of:
- LB Deon King
- OT Brett Boyko
- S Adrian McDonald
- WR Dom Williams
- TE Jake McGee
- RB Andre Williams
- NT Ryan Carrethers
- DB Trovon Reed
- LB James Burgess
Burse, 24, originally signed on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Fresno State back in May of 2014. He lasted just over a year in Denver before he was cut loose and later signed to the Steelers’ practice squad.
The Chargers elected to sign him to a future/reserve contract this past January before cutting him loose a few weeks ago. Burse signed on to their practice squad soon after before being promoted a few weeks ago.
In 2016, Burse has been active for one game but has yet to record a single reception.
