The San Diego Chargers announced that they’ve signed C Bruce Johnson to a contract and waived OLB Tyler Marcordes with an injury designation.
Should Marcordes clear waivers tomorrow, he would revert to the team’s injured reserve list.
Johnson, 23, wound up signing on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Maine back in May. He signed a three-year, $1.62 million rookie contract with the Eagles and was set to a make a base salary of $450,000 for the 2016 season.
Unfortunately for Johnson, the Eagles waived him earlier in the week.
