The San Diego Chargers announced the signing CB Lowell Rose to a contract on Friday.
Rose originally signed with San Francisco as an undrafted free agent in 2013. He was eventually released by the 49ers last summer.
Rose caught on with the Jets when he signed a reserve/future contract in January of this year, but was unfortunately placed on waivers a few weeks ago.
Rose played safety in college at Tulsa, but worked as a cornerback with the 49ers. He does have intriguing physical traits, so he could catch on elsewhere fairly soon.
