The San Diego Chargers officially signed LB James Vaughters to a contract on Tuesday.
Vaughters, 23, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Stanford back in May of last year. However, he was unfortunately among the Packers roster cuts coming out of the preseason. Green Bay later signed him to their practice squad before cutting him loose with an injury settlement in October.
The Patriots elected to sign Vaughters to a future/reserve contract this past January, but waived him shortly after this year’s draft.
Vaughters has yet to appear in an NFL game.
