The San Diego Chargers announced that they’ve signed OL Marcel Jones to a contract on Friday.
Jones, 27, is a former seventh-round pick of the Saints back in 2012. He spent over two years in New Orleans before he was waived at the start of the 2014 season.
The Ravens later signed Jones to a future/reserve contract in January of last year, but he was once again unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason. After that, Jones was on and off of the Ravens’ practice squad.
Jones has yet to appear in an NFL game.
