Michael Gehlken reports that the Chargers are re-signing OT Tyreek Burwell to their practice squad after clearing waivers on Monday.
The Chargers’ practice squad now consists of:
- OT Brett Boyko
- S Adrian McDonald
- WR Dom Williams
- TE Jake McGee
- RB Andre Williams
- NT Ryan Carrethers
- DB Trovon Reed
- LB James Burgess
- OT Tyreek Burwell
Burwell, 24, wound up signing on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Cincinnati back in May of last year. He was waived a week into the regular season and later added to their practice squad before eventually being promoted to the Chargers’ active roster.
San Diego elected to cut Burwell loose last week.
In 2016, Burwell has been active for three games.
