Chargers Sign QB Brad Sorensen To Practice Squad, Cut G Craig Watts

The San Diego Chargers officially signed QB Brad Sorensen to their practice squad on Saturday and waived G Craig Watts from the unit.

The Chargers’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. QB Brad Sorensen
  2. DB Matt Daniels
  3. DB Keith Lewis
  4. TE Tim Semisch
  5. DT Chuka Ndulue
  6. TE Sean McGrath
  7. WR Isaiah Burse
  8. DE Ben Gardner
  9. RB Dreamius Smith
  10. OT Andrew McDonald
  11. TE Alex Bayer (Injured)

Sorensen, 27, was taken in the seventh round of last year’s NFL draft by the Chargers. He was waived as San Diego trimmed their roster down to 53 players before the start of last season.

The Titans added him to their practice squad a month into the regular season, but he was cut loose just a few days later.

Sorensen returned to the Chargers on a future/reserve contract and has been on and off of the team’s practice squad this season.

He has yet to appear in an NFL game.
