Chargers Sign WR Rico Richardson & DT Zamir Carlis, Cut Two

The San Diego Chargers announced Monday that they’ve signed WR Rico Richardson and DT Zamir Carlis to contracts and waived OL Mike McQueen and P Kasey Redfern.

Richardson, 24, originally signed on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Jackson State back in 2013. After a brief stint with the Texans, Richardson signed on with the Titans back in June of 2014 and was on and off of their practice squad during his time in Tennessee.

Unfortunately, the Titans elected to place Richardson on waivers at the end of last season and not bring him back on a future/reserve contract. Richardson later signed a contract with the Cardinals in June only to be waived a few weeks ago.

In 2015, Richardson was active for five games, but did not record a single statistic.
