Chargers Re-Signing OT Chris Hairston To A Two-Year Deal

Michael Gehlken of the Union-Tribune reports that the Chargers have agreed to a two-year deal with OT Chris Hairston.

A report had mentioned that Hairston was scheduled to visit with the Steelers this week. However, Hairston never met with the team and Pittsburgh elected to sign OT Ryan Harris to a contract on Tuesday, effectively taking them out of the market for an offensive tackle.

Hairston, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Bills back in 2011. He spent four years in Buffalo and, after playing out his rookie contract, signed a one-year deal with the Chargers last April.

In 2015, Hairston was active for all 16 games and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 65 offensive tackle out of 77 qualifying players.
