Chargers Signing TE Kyle Miller Following Ladarius Green’s Concussion

Michael Gehlken of the Union-Tribune reports that the Chargers brought in TE Kyle Miller last night and are expected to sign him to a contract on Thursday.

This is, obviously, in response to the news that TE Ladarius Green sustained a second concussion in as many weeks.

Miller, 27, signed on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Mount Union back in 2007. He has since placed for the Colts and Dolphins before signing on with the Falcons in September of last year.

Atlanta later signed him to a future/reserve contract in December before waiving him a few months ago. San Diego wound up claiming him off of waivers, but was cut loose a few weeks ago.

Miller has appeared in just one NFL game during the 2012 season when he was playing for the Dolphins. He has yet to record a single statistic.
