Chargers Have Had Trade Talks Involving WR Dontrelle Inman

Tom Pelissero reports that the Chargers have spoken with teams about trading WR Dontrelle Inman.

Inman, 28, originally signed on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Virginia back in 2011. Jacksonville decided to waive him shortly afterward and he remained unsigned before joining the Chargers in 2014.

The Chargers re-signed Inman to a one-year restricted deal worth $2.746 million this past April.

According to OverTheCap.com, trading Inman would save $2,746,000 in cap space and create no dead money.

In 2016, appeared in all 16 games for the Chargers are recorded 58 receptions for 810 yards receiving and four touchdowns. Pro Football Focus rated him as the No. 33 overall receiver out of 115 qualifying players.
