Chargers Tried Out 3 Including LB Beniquez Brown

According to Howard Balzer, the Chargers worked out three players on Tuesday including LB Beniquez Brown, LB James Burgess, and CB Trovon Reed.

Brown, 23, originally signed with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi State. He signed a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Packers and was set to make $450,000 this season when he was waived coming out of the preseason.

Since becoming a free agent, Brown has worked out for the Chiefs and Buccaneers but has yet to receive an offer.

During his three-year college career, Brown accumulated 200 total tackles, 22.5 tackles-for-loss, six sacks, three interceptions, four pass defenses, and two fumble recoveries.
