Kevin Aceee from U-T San Diego confirms what many Charger fans fear: WR Vincent Brown broke his ankle last night.
Brown, who has been impressive during preseason, landed awkwardly after hauling in an 18-yard touchdown catch last night against the Cowboys. Brown was later spotted on crutches before it was confirmed that he had suffered broken his ankle.
Brown is expected to be out at least 8 weeks or more depending on his recovery. This is the second big injury for San Diego’s offense after Ryan Mathews went down in week 1.
