Chargers Waive S Brandon Taylor

The San Diego Chargers announced Thursday that they have placed S Brandon Taylor on waivers.

“We’d like to thank Brandon for his work and contributions to the Chargers the last three years, and wish him the best as he continues his career,” said General Manager Tom Telesco.

The Chargers used a third-round pick on Taylor back in 2012. He still had two years remaining on his rookie contract as was set to make $570,000 for the 2014 season.

Taylor, 24, unfortunately suffered a torn ACL in December of 2012. He has appeared in just four games over the course of his two years in the NFL and has recorded six tackles and a half sack.
