The Los Angeles Chargers announced Friday that they’ve placed CB Mike Lee on waivers.
Lee, 25, wound up signing on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Fort Valley State back in May of 2015. He lasted just a few months in Atlanta before he was waived and later signed to the Eagles’ practice squad.
The Chargers eventually signed him off of the Eagles’ practice squad and brought him back the following summer. Lee signed a future/reserve contract with the Chargers this past January.
During his senior season at Fort Valley State, Lee recorded 41 tackles, three interceptions, and eight pass defenses.
