Chargers Worked Out Three Players Including LB Reshard Cliett

Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the Chargers worked out three linebackers on Wednesday including Kevin Snyder, Ryan Langford, and Reshard Cliett.

Cliett, 24, was taken with the No. 211 overall pick in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL draft by the Texans. He was in the second year of his four-year, $2,370,484 contract when the Texans elected to waive him as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players.

The Broncos added him to their practice squad a few weeks into the regular season before cutting him loose back in October. The Jets later signed Cliett to their practice squad but decided to waive him to make room for WR Myles White and OT Jesse Davis.

Last year, Cliett, unfortunately, missed the entire 2015 season after he sustained a torn ACL before the start of the regular season.

During his college career at South Florida, Cliett recorded 134 tackles, seven sacks, two fumble recoveries and seven pass defenses over the course of four seasons
