Chargers WR Dontrelle Inman Out 6 Weeks Following Core Muscle Surgery

Adam Schefter reports that Chargers WR Dontrelle Inman recently underwent core muscle surgery with Dr. William Meyers in Philadelphia and will be out six weeks.

Inman, 28, originally signed on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Virginia back in 2011. Jacksonville decided to waive him shortly afterward and he remained unsigned before joining the Chargers in 2014.

The Chargers re-signed Inman to a one-year restricted deal worth $2.746 million this past April.

In 2016, appeared in all 16 games for the Chargers are recorded 58 receptions for 810 yards receiving and four touchdowns. Pro Football Focus rated him as the No. 33 overall receiver out of 115 qualifying players.
