Chiefs Activating OLB Tamba Hali From PUP List

The Kansas City Chiefs are activating veteran OLB Tamba Hali (knee) from the active/PUP list on Monday, according to BJ Kissel.

Hali is expected to participate in practice on a limited basis in the coming days.

Hali, 32, is a former first-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2006. He’s in the first year of his new three-year, $22 million contract that included $12 million guaranteed and stands to make a base salary of $1 million for the 2016 season.

In 2015, Hali appeared in 15 games for the Chiefs and recorded 48 tackles, 6.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and a pass defense.
