Chiefs Cut Four From Practice Squad Including S Brock Vereen, Sign Four

The Kansas City Chiefs announced that they’ve swapped out four players on their practice squad for new additions on Tuesday.

The four players released include: LB Tyrell Adams, C Daniel Munyer, S Shak Randolph and S Brock Vereen.

The four new additions are: OT Jordan Devey, DB Terrance Mitchell, DB Julian Wilson and LB Ramik Wilson.

Here’s the Chiefs’ full practice squad following these changes:

  1. WR Frankie Hammond
  2. ILB Terrance Smith
  3. WR Seantavius Jones
  4. RB Darrin Reaves
  5. DL David King
  6. G Jarrod Pughsley
  7. CB Julian Wilson
  8. OT Jordan Devey
  9. DB Terrance Mitchell
  10. LB Ramik Wilson

Vereen, 23, is a former fourth-round pick of the Bears back in 2014. He was in the second year of his four-year, $2,611,500 rookie contract when the Bears cut him loose a few weeks into the 2015 season.

The Vikings later signed him to their practice squad before he later caught on with the Patriots towards the end of last year. Vereen returned to New England on a future/reserve contract this past January.

The Patriots waived him close to a month ago and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Chiefs. However, Kansas City elected to cut him loose last week to get down to 53 players.

In 2015, Vereen has appeared in three games for the Bears, but did not record a single statistic.
