According to the Associated Press, Chiefs DT Roy Miller was arrested in Florida on a domestic battery charge.

Jail records obtained by the AP show that Miller was jailed shortly before 5 a.m. Saturday, but there aren’t any details immediately available about the alleged battery or who was involved.

It’s worth mentioning that the records do show that it involved a minor injury and Miller has an initial appearance before a judge later Saturday.

Miller, 30, is a former third-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2009. He spent four years in Tampa Bay before signing a five-year, $18.63 million contract that included $1.975 million guaranteed on with the Jaguars in 2013.

Miller was set to make a base salary of $3,637,500 for the 2017 season when the Jaguars released him this past March. The Chiefs would later sign him to a contract during the preseason.

In 2017, Miller has appeared in seven games and recorded six tackles, no sacks and a pass defense for the Chiefs.
