Herbie Teope of ChiefsDigest.com reports that the Chiefs have expressed interest in re-signing S Tyvon Branch.
Branch is one of three safeties in line to be unrestricted free agents in the coming weeks with the other two being Eric Berry and Husain Abdullah.
Branch, 29, is a former fourth-round pick of the Raiders back in 2008. He spent five years in Oakland before signing on with the Chiefs as an unrestricted free agent last year.
In 2015, Branch appeared in all 16 games for the Chiefs and recorded 43 tackles, one sack, an interception returned for a touchdown, a fumble recovery returned for a touchdown and four pass defenses.
