Chiefs Hosting RB Thomas Rawls For Visit

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Chiefs are hosting former Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls for a visit on Friday.

This is the first reported interest in him since the free agent market officially opened.

Rawls, 24, wound up signing on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Central Michigan back in May of last year. He played out the final year of his three-year, $1.59 million rookie contract but was not tendered a restricted offer by the Seahawks.

Rawls is now testing the open market for the first time in his NFL career.

In 2017, Rawls appeared in 12 games for the Seahawks and rushed for 157 yards on 58 carries (2.7 YPC) to go along with nine receptions for 94 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
