NFL.com’s Jason La Canfora reports that Kansas City Chiefs S Eric Berry is out for the season after tearing his ACL during Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills.
This is a huge lose for a team that looked terrible in their first game of the season. Giving up 41 points to the Bills isn’t exactly a step in the right direction and it’s hard to image that they’ll be able to adequately replacement Berry in their secondary. You can expect the Chiefs to consider some of the available free agent options as Sabby Piscitelli is currently Berry’s backup.
