Chiefs & Patriots Hosting OLB Andy Mulumba For Visits

Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that free agent OLB Andy Mulumba visited with the Patriots on Thursday and is now traveling to meet with the Chiefs.

  • According to Silverstein, Mulumba has interest from other teams, but the Patriots and Chiefs have shown the most interest up to this point.

This is the first reported interest in Mulumba since the free agent market opened over four weeks ago.

Mulumba, 26, wound up signing on with the Packers as undrafted free agent out of Eastern Michigan back in 2013. However, Green Bay elected to not tender him a restricted offer a few months ago, making him an unrestricted free agent.

In 2015, Mulumba appeared in six games and recorded four tackles and no sacks after he suffered a season-ending ACL injury.
