Chiefs Place OLB Tamba Hali On PUP List

The Kansas City Chiefs have placed OLB Tamba Hali on the PUP list on Friday and added Isaiah Battle, Dadi Nicolas, Parker Ehinger and Chris Jones to the non-football injury list.

The Chiefs can activate Hali at any time from the list once he’s healthy and ready to practice.

Hali recently expressed frustration with his role last year and the fact that he was limited during the team’s playoff game. However, it appears as though they’ve managed to iron out any issues.

Hali, 33, is a former first-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2006. He’s currently in the second year of his three-year, $22 million contract that includes $12 million guaranteed and stands to make base salaries of $5.75 million over the final two years of the contract.

In 2016, Hali appeared in all 16 games and recorded 34 tackles, 3.5 sacks and a fumble recovery.
