Chiefs Place Rookie OLB Dadi Nicolas On Injured Reserve

The Kansas City Chiefs officially placed rookie OLB Dadi Nicolas on injured reserve Tuesday to make room for OLB Victor Ochi, who was signed off of the Jets’ practice squad.

Nicolas, 24, was taken in the sixth-round of this year’s NFL draft by the Chiefs. He’s currently in the first year of his four-year, $2.49 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $540,000 and $630,000 over the next two years.

In 2016, Nicolas appeared in 10 games for the Chiefs and recorded one pass defense and no tackles.
