Chiefs Place Track & Field Star Tautvydas Kieras On Waivers

The Kansas City Chiefs nnounced that they’ve placed Mississippi State track and field star Tautvydas Kieras on waivers Friday.

The Chiefs signed Kieras to a contract back in March after he wowed them with a workout, despite not playing any football during his college career at Mississippi State.

During the workout, Kieras totaled 24 reps on the 225-pound bench press, ran a 4.69 40-yard dash, recorded a vertical leap of 35” and a broad jump of 9’8”. He measured in at 6’3” and 271 pounds.

We’ll have to see if another team is willing to give him a shot in the coming months.
