Chiefs Promote LB Terrance Smith To Active Roster

The Kansas City Chiefs officially promoted LB Terrance Smith to their active roster on Wednesday.

Smith, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Florida State back in May. However, he was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed to the team’s practice squad.

During his college career at FSU, Smith recorded 219 tackles, 12 tackles for a loss, four sacks, three interceptions, a forced fumble and five pass defenses over the course of five seasons.
