Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles Has A High Ankle Sprain

Chiefs HC Andy Reid announced Monday that Pro Bowl RB Jamaal Charles has been diagnosed with a high ankle sprain, per Lindsay Jones.

Following Sunday’s loss to the Broncos, Charles was said to have a mild ankle sprain and an MRI was reportedly clean, but it appears as though the injury could cost him more time than initially believed.

Knile Davis is going to be a popular fantasy pick up this week as he wound up running for 79 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries while also contributing six catches for 26 yards.

We’ll have more updates regarding Charles’ timetable as the news is available.
