The Kansas City Chiefs officially signed TE Anthony Firkser to their practice squad on Wednesday and released WR Devin Lucien from the unit.

The Chiefs’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. WR Gehrig Dieter
  2. S Leon McQuay
  3. RB George Atkinson
  4. DB Keith Reaser
  5. WR Marcus Kemp
  6. G Damien Mama
  7. CB Will Redmond
  8. DT Rickey Hatley
  9. NT Mike Purcell
  10. TE Anthony Firkser

Lucien, 24, is a former seventh-round pick by the Patriots out of Arizona State in the 2016 NFL Draft. He was in the first year of a four-year rookie contract when the Patriots decided to waive him and sign him to their practice squad.

New England re-signed him to a futures contract back in February but was eventually waived with an injury settlement at the start of the 2016 season. After a brief stint on the Colts’ practice squad, Lucien signed on with the Chiefs.

During his four-year college career, Lucien recorded 124 receptions for 1,826 yards receiving (14.7 YPC) and 12 touchdowns.
