Chiefs Sign DE Kendall Reyes, Place DE Allen Bailey On I.R.

The Kansas City Chiefs announced several roster moves on Tuesday including the additions of DE Kendall Reyes, CB Terrance Mitchell, DL Rakeem Nunez-Roches and LB Ramik Wilson.

Other roster moves include:

Reyes, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Chargers back in 2012. He played out his rookie contract with the Chargers before signing a one-year, $2.5 million contract with the Redskins this offseason.

Unfortunately, the Redskins elected to cut him loose in a move that freed up $2 million in available cap space for Washington.

In 2016, Reyes has appeared in two games and recorded five tackles and no sacks.

Bailey, 27, is a former third-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2011. He’s currently in the second year of his five-year, $25.67 million contract that includes $15 million guaranteed and stands to make a base salary of $3 million in 2016.

This year, Allen has appeared in five games and recorded seven tackles and no sacks for the Chiefs. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 94 interior defensive lineman out of 116 qualifying players.
