The Kansas City Chiefs officially signed DB Chris Cooper to their practice squad on Tuesday.
Here’s the Chiefs updated practice squad:
- WR Josh Crockett
- OT Ryan Hunter
- QB Chase Litton
- LB Rob McCray (Injured)
- DB D’Montre Wade
- DT Joey Ivie
- TE David Wells
- DB Leon McQuay
- LB Raymond Davison
- OT Pace Murphy
- DB Chris Cooper
Cooper, 24, wound up signing on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Stony Brook back in 2018. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 miilion contract with the Colts, but was waived with an injury designation coming out of the preseason and later reverted to their injured reserve list.
The Colts eventually cut Cooper loose and he had a brief stint on the Bengals’ practice squad.
Cooper has yet to appear in an NFL game.
