Chiefs Sign DB Prince Charles Iworah To Futures Deal

The Kansas City Chiefs officially signed DB Prince Charles Iworah to a futures deal for the 2018 season on Thursday.

As of now, the Redskins have signed five players to futures deals including:

  1. WR Brandon Shippen
  2. NT Josh Augusta
  3. CB Sheldon Price
  4. DB Makinton Dorleant
  5. DB Prince Charles Iworah

Futures deals are essentially camp invites that will give players the opportunity to compete for roster spots during offseason workouts and training camp.

Iworah, 24, is a former seventh-round pick of the 49ers back in 2016. He was waived coming out of the preseason last year and he spent the majority of the year on the team’s practice squad before being called up in late December.

The 49ers once again waived him at the start of the 2017 regular season and later reverted to their injured reserve with after clearing waivers. San Francisco cut him from the I.R. list a few weeks ago.

In 2016, Iworah appeared in one game and recorded one tackle for the 49ers.
