Chiefs Sign OLB Andy Mulumba To A One-Year Deal

The Kansas City Chiefs have signed former Packers OLB Andy Mulumba to a one-year contract on Friday, according to his agent Tom Tafelski, per Tom Silverstein.

Mulumba took his first visits this week to meet with the the Patriots and Chiefs, but it appears as though Kansas City was the best fit for him moving forward.

Mulumba, 26, wound up signing on with the Packers as undrafted free agent out of Eastern Michigan back in 2013. However, Green Bay elected to not tender him a restricted offer a few months ago, making him an unrestricted free agent.

In 2015, Mulumba appeared in six games and recorded four tackles and no sacks after he suffered a season-ending ACL injury.
